Tarong Power Station tailings dredging
Tarong Power Station engaged the Hall team to dredge the fly ash dam at the Tarong Local Fired Power Station in Queensland.
A cutter suction dredge was selected to undertake the works due to its ability to work in confined spaces and handle fine silts. Our team dredged the material to a surge bin, then transported it to the designated tailings dam.
The project was completed on time and under budget without incident or variations.
