Hydromining involves using high-pressure water technology to convert waste material into slurry. This enables the material to be pumped to a facility for storage or reprocessing, and also creates opportunities to capture valuable commodities left over in waste products.
Our team also uses hydromining technology for pond cleaning. With gravity-fed water ponds prone to filling up with tailings over time, hydraulically blasting the material helps to maintain storage capacity. This approach is particularly useful for HDPE-lined ponds, where excavation is not possible due to the risk of damaging the liners.
